This Government office fitout centres on sustainability and reuse, repurposing existing furniture and materials while structuring the layout around the core base build elements. The space is thoughtfully planned to include quiet zones for focused work and open areas for collaboration. Contemporary, clean finishes create a bright, calm atmosphere, while detailed trims, grooved wall panelling, and feature lighting introduce character. These elements reference the local ‘Queenslander’ vernacular, blurring the lines between home and office. The design fosters both productivity and comfort, offering a balanced, inviting space that integrates functionality, and a sense of belonging.
